Rubber watchband giving me fungal infection... solutions? - how to clean a clear watch band
I have a clock for many years, usually with a rubber band. Recently, I developed an itchy red rash that sometimes my dermatologist diagnosed a fungal infection. I have the clock on a couple of weeks and uses a Halobetasol propionate ointment (0.05%). The infection seems quite clear, and started back with the clock. In fact, the infection is back.
If I did not set the clock even at all. It's just a cheap plastic Casio I had Walmart. I like to have a clock, maybe I need to clean with the group? Stay in the ointment more? I have about 3/4th of the tube on the left.

You may need the tape on a timely basis clean. The rubber can get Gunky with their sweat and old skin cells. Take an alcohol swab and wipe once a week or more and see if it helps. Otherwise, you must change the nature of the bands. I can not use metal and my father had about the way that the skin care .. holds use to stop a clock every time you come in contact with the arm! Use the lotion on the rash disappears, wipe the bracelet and then see what happens. If you do not clean the skin, such as Sea Breeze, which will work.
