In the first page I found in a form which is available on the second website below. The forms are all forms of a soldier in Florida. I read many of them. It seems exempt from sales tax on car purchases and maintenance of insurance in Florida. I could not find the exact answer, but perhaps the phone number that will help you:

If you have questions about filling out the form, please contact Customer Service, 850/617-2000 or e-mail.

Read the forms on the second page and see if it helps.

If you have a military driver's license, should be in a position to have to renew the registration in Florida to a FL DL ... sorry!

In fact, a military driver's license are exempt from many things when it comes to cars ...

Bought my son a parked car, while in Texas, then was transferred to Kentucky, have 6 months transfer to your vehicle, but with a dual control over their resources, to be sure. Sorry, and DL.

Enter the Florida DMV to call and ask. They are the only people who can say with certainty.
