Here is a recipe is very simple and delicious:
QUICK AND EASY Peach Cobbler
1 LG. Box of peaches
1 C. flour
1 egg
1 C sugar
1 stick butter
1 teaspoon of tea. Vanilla (optional)
Place the peach juice and 8 x 10 baking dish with butter and extra point. To make dough, combine butter, sugar, egg and vanilla. Drop by tablespoons on peaches. Bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes.
Shortening is white, tasteless solid fat formulated for baking or frying. An example would Crisco.
Corn flour is a fine white dust of the flour thickener. Used to thicken sauces. Cornstarch has twice the thickening power of flour, so you only half of what is a recipe for use as a replacement.
We regularly use in restaurants. Each are very good reviews. It is very simple. The dough is raised to cover the peaches.
Ingredients
1 / 2 cup (1 stick) butter
1 cup cake or all purpose flour
1 1 / 2 c. Tea baking powder
Salt 1 / 2 teaspoon
1 cup whole milk
1 cup sugar
2 cups peaches, peeled and cut into slices, kept in a bowl
NOTES
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Place butter in 13 by 9-inch baking. Place dish in the oven to melt butter. Flour, baking powder and salt in a large bowl. Add milk and sugar in the dough. Remove with oven gloves to hot pan from the oven. Pour batter into prepared pan. Spoon peaches and peach juice evenly over the dough. Bake until the pastry is risen and brown on top, about 30 minutes.
Put the sliced and peeled peaches in the bottom of a 9 x 13 baking dish. Sprinkle with sugar - just a little sugar on each slice, not drowning in sugar.
Sprinkle box yellow cake mix for peaches. It contributes nothing to the cake mix, just use the dry mixing of the box.
Item 8 tablespoons butter (1 stick). Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes, then check the kitchen. It is 45 minutes but check after 30 minutes to be safe.
You can do this with other fruits, or use 2 cans of pie filling - the filling of the tart cherry is our favorite, but Apple is up there too. When you pour into pie tins, you do not use spray on all sugar.
